This is an important part of how we run our school — ensuring that the voices of students, parents, and staff are heard and reflected in the documents that govern our community.

The Bí Cineálta Procedures to Address and Prevent Bullying Behaviour have been adopted by the Board of Management and are now published on the school website. Annual review was carried out at our BOM 25 May 2026. Link to Policy and review below
Awaiting National Guidelines from Dept of Education Summer 2026 To be reviewed in 2026/2027 Academic Year
Our school provides a coordinated framework designed to promote the welfare, wellbeing, and academic success of all students. It encompasses a continuum of supports—ranging from universal, preventative measures for all students, to targeted interventions for some, and intensive, specialist supports for a few.
Our Additional Educational Needs Policy review is scheduled for review Summer to November 2026. This policy governs how we identify, plan for, and support students with additional educational needs across all year groups.
Our Administration of Medicines Policy applies to requests from parents/guardians to administer or supervise the administration of routine medication to children suffering from chronic medical conditions as well as the administration of emergency medication e.g. in the case of allergic reactions.
Our Assessment & Reporting Policy has been adopted by our BOM. Staff, parent and student consultation has been completed through survey and focus groups.
This policy seeks to ensure that appropriate procedures are in place to support student teachers and promotes an effective relationship between student teachers and the school community
Our Wellbeing and Student Support Policy details how we support and develkop studnet wellbeing in our school under four key headings: Culture, Curriculum, Relationships and Policy & Planning
Our Child Protection Safeguarding Statement and Risk Assessment was adopted by the BOM May 2026. .
A draft policy is developed by school leadership teams, drawing on national guidelines, best practice, and existing school documents.
Teaching and support staff review the draft through surveys and focus groups, providing professional insight and practical feedback.
Students and parents are invited to review the draft, submit written observations, and participate in focused review sessions.
Following consultation, the finalised policy is presented to the Board of Management for adoption and published on the school website.
