The personal data supplied is required for the purpose of: verification of identity and date of birth; verification and assessment of admission criteria; allocation of teachers and resources; and school administration — all pursuant to statutory duties to which GRETB is subject.
Personal data may be communicated internally within GRETB and possibly with the patron or board of management of other schools to facilitate efficient admission of students, pursuant to section 66(6) of the Education Act 1998. Data will be retained for 7 years from the date the student turns 18, in line with GRETB’s Data Retention Policy.
